As an associate of the OSU Foundation, the Oregon 4-H Foundation has chosen to fund its fundraising operation through a combination of gift fees and a small amount of direct program support. This model is used by many public institutions; more than half of universities in the U.S. have some type of gift fee. A 5% fee on gifts supports future development activities and the ongoing operations of the Foundation. This fee is capped at $250,000 per gift.

Directing your gift to the 4-H Fund for Excellence is a great way to do this. This fund allows leaders to invest in programs that benefit students throughout 4-H and meet its commitment to Oregon communities.

Yes! For example, when your gift of $500 is matched with $500 from your employer, you will be recognized at the $1,000 level.

Receipts are mailed as gifts are processed. If you did not receive a receipt or need a duplicate receipt, please contact the Office of Gift Administration.
