Sue Densmore

Sue Densmore has served as the Executive Director of the Friends of the Oregon Caves and Chateau since 2007. The former General Manager of Rogue Waste Systems, Dry Creek Landfill and Rogue Disposal and Recycling, Sue is a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum of Oregon and Board member of the Grants Pass Rotary Club. She is a former member of the Oregon Environmental Council and a founding member of the Medford Urban Renewal Agency. She also served as a member of the Oregon Tourism Council. Sue is a former member of the President’s Board of Advisors for Oregon State University, a former Trustee of the OSU Foundation, a former Board Member of the OSU Alumni Association and is currently the Vice Chair of the OSU 4-H Foundation and a member of the Beaver Caucus. Ms. Densmore spent her childhood in Lakeview riding her horse Merrylegs and getting her dairy cows ready for the Fair. She was the Director of 4-H Summer Camp and worked at the Extension Service. Sue received her Bachelor’s Degree from Oregon State University and completed the Marketing Management Program at Stanford University. She spends as much time as possible on her family ranch. She has a wonderful - red-haired grandchild– Reed Oregon Williams and daughter Brooke who is Co-Chair of the Progress Alliance in Seattle, and Rose who is an actress and producer and recently relocated to Ashland.
